中文释义：1.for the sake of sth由于...的缘故=the purpose/motive；2. for someone's sake看在……份上；为帮助。需要注意的是for the sake of 不等于 because of，因为for the sake of的意思是由于...的缘故，所以有人可能会把它等同于because of，事实上because of 的适用范围要比for the sake of 大很多。一切可能的原因,不管是正面或负面都可以用.至于for the sake of 所陈述的理由一般是正面的。
