中文释义：humor作名词是幽默，动词含义是to agree with somebody's wishes, even if they seem unreasonable, in order to keep the person happy，由此看 humor someone与indulge someone意思差不多，都表示“即使某人提出无理的要求也要尽力满足、迁就对方”。在实际运用中，humor someone常以humor me的形式出现。每当要表达“你就顺了我的意吧”或“你就满足我吧”的时候，我们就可以说humor me，有时为加强语气，还可以在前面加上just。例句：She thought it best to humor him rather than get into an argument.（她想最好是顺他的意，不和他争吵。）
